We know that these unsettling times and COVID-19 impact everyone from all backgrounds, in both their personal and professional lives. These are stressful, sad and scary times, but if we help each other we will get through this healthier, with more trust, and stronger.
How to help
Food-insecure households are likely more susceptible to contracting COVID-19 due to lesser access to adequate health care, lower resistance or compromised immune systems, stigma or bias, or lack of information about proper prevention and care. You can join others who have heeded our call, such as Siya Kolisi, Pres. Cyril Ramaphosa, mayor Dan Plato and many others, and help us to provide hot meals to thousands of children and adults who are facing hunger during the lockdown period.
There are a variety of ways to donate, ranging from a simple monthly cash donation, a corporate donation or donating food or equipment. Every donation, be it money, food, or equipment, will help us in our mission to feed the hungry
